Privacy Policy

We collect three things and use them for one purpose. Here's the whole of it, in plain language.

Last updated: August 2, 2026

The short version. Right now this website is a single page with one form on it. If you ask for early access, we collect your name, your email address, and which kind of person you are. We use those three things to email you about early access, and nothing else. We don't sell them, we don't add you to a marketing list, and we delete them if you ask.

There is no product yet — no recordings, no memorial pages, no accounts. When there is, this page will be rewritten to describe it honestly and you'll be told before anything changes.

Who we are

Selfie Condolences is operated by Fully Equipped Inc., the company behind PartingPoint. You can reach us at hello@selfiecondolences.com.

What we collect

If you fill in the early-access form, we collect:

  • Your name — so we can write to you like a person.
  • Your email address — so we can reach you when a place opens.
  • Your role — whether you're a family, someone who wants to leave a tribute, a funeral home, or something else. This tells us who to invite first.

Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. That's a normal part of running a website and we don't use those logs to build a profile of you.

What we don't collect

  • We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this page.
  • We don't use cookies to follow you around the internet.
  • We don't ask for payment information, because there is nothing to buy.
  • We don't collect anything about a person who has died, because the product that would do that doesn't exist yet.

How we use it

We use what you give us to contact you about early access to Selfie Condolences, and to decide who to invite in what order. That's the whole purpose. We will not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. If we ever want to use it for a different purpose, we'll ask you first.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers help us operate: our website host, and whatever service stores the early-access list. They process the information on our instructions and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We'll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep early-access details until the product launches and you've either joined or told us you're not interested — or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If Selfie Condolences never launches, we delete the list.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There's no form to fill in and no hoops — email hello@selfiecondolences.com and we'll do it. See Data & deletion for the details.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We'll honour those requests regardless of where you live, because it's simpler and fairer than checking.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll remove them.

Security

We keep what little we collect on reputable hosted services and limit who can see it. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — but the honest mitigation here is that we're holding three fields, not a vault of family memories.

Changes

When Selfie Condolences becomes a working product, this policy will need to grow considerably — recordings, storage, family control, retention. We'll rewrite it before that launches, not after, and we'll date the change at the top of this page.
